En blick, en bagatell? a collaboration between Danskompaniet Spinn and Föreningen JAG.

How do we meet each other? How do we meet ourselves? Our bodies are in constant dialogue with each other, consciously or unconsciously.

There is already a communication in our bare existence, a way to negotiate oneself to ones own body, other people, to society as a whole. When the meeting happens we can choose to meet in contact or with distance, voluntary or involuntary, but equally we cannot avoid to meet, we share the same space, the same earth. Somewhere we will always meet, even if the distance seems enormous. The constant relationship between body, floor, air, the space around us.

The piece is created by Anna Emilsson and Julie Cleves together with members from JAG workshops held during spring 2013. Half the piece consists of a duet between Anna and Julie. Music is composed by Monotop: Henrik Emilsson and Markus Hedelin www.monotop.se. Scenography: members from JAG.

The piece has been performed in multiple locations such as Kulturhuset Stockholm and Frölunda Kulturhus.
